Affiliate disclosure

This site does not carry affiliate links. The outbound links on a story go to the news report or the official data page named in the rating. They are not merchant links, and the site is not paid when you open them.

If a later edition adds an affiliate or sponsored link, it will be labeled next to the link, on this page, and kept out of the verdict, the reasoning, and the source list for a rating. A commercial relationship does not pick a claim, a rating, or which fact makes the page.

Ratings are not for sale. Campaigns, outlets, and advertisers do not get a review, a correction, or a softer word in exchange for money. Corrections happen when the record says the rating is wrong. The method for that is on the methodology page.

There is no advertising sales desk and no inbox wired up in this MVP. The newsletter box in the footer does not store addresses or send mail.
